I just walked Rascal (9am) and the snow continues here.......................

This morning was like a Long Island winter day rain, temp in the 30's, then I watch what you guys up north are going through and I don't feel as bad. Pete does Rascal have a coat to wear, in the cold?

Rascal actually loves the snow. He has little jacket/coats, but never likes to wear them. Believe it or not, even with the large amount of snow, the temperatures have not been severly low.

Our high today is supposed to reach a tropical 50 degrees. I have to work 2 games today, probably have to wear my jacket again.

This has been the coldest winter in South Louisiana in 20 years and perhaps the coldest in terms of consistency since I moved here from California 38 years ago.

I was working in Houston last week and the manager of that office is a lifetime Houstonian and said it is the coldest winter he ever experienced.

To be honest with you, I'm enjoying it because we have a semi-tropical climate and will be suffocating as I do every summer shortly.

It was sunny with temps in the mid-80s here in Atlanta today. I say it's time to.....PLAY BALL!!

Near 80 today, supposed to be in the 8o's over the weekend. I agree play ball.

Spring has officially started, but it is still chilly here. At least the sun is shining, but in fact it is still too cold to play baseball.

80 today, worked a doubleheader and got some sunburn.
