With almost every item on their offseason to-do list crossed off, the Dodgers appear to have little else on their agenda than finding a fourth outfielder to replace Juan Pierre, whom they traded to the Chicago White Sox last month. That search appears to have been narrowed to four veteran free agents.
Garret Anderson, Brian Giles, Gabe Gross and Reed Johnson are in the mix, according to a source close to the organization.

While I am in a predicting mood, I am going to predict that Manny Ramirez gets traded and Joe Torre steps down as Dodger manager during the season.
Wow. Manny is probably finished now that he cannot juice anymore. Why would Torre leave? Health? You know he's gaining ground in lifetime wins as a manager. Joe may feel he has a shot at the Hall of Fame with some more victories.

I just think Torre is going to get frustrated with all the nonsense the McCOURTS are doing right now. Joe thought he left all the craziness behind in New York.

Financial documents submitted in the divorce proceedings between Frank and Jamie McCourt reveal a Dodgers plan that would cut their payroll from last season's $132 million to $107 million this year despite an anticipated boost in revenues, the Los Angeles Times has reported.
Also in Dodger news: Manny says this is his final season in Los Angeles. He will either retire (doubtful) or seek a DH role in the American League (likely). My personal opinion is watch for the Dodgers to try and move Manny during the summer................
