Picked this up from Borders in the bargain book area. Been eyeing it for years, and with a great price I finally bought it. Hundreds of pictures in this coffee table book, which has chapters set up for every year 1947 through 1957. Of course all three teams are represented, but it is still well worth it.

Yes, a great book. These books (by and large) are great to page through, time after time...............you'll more than likely see things on your tenth trip through that you missed the first nine times!

Even this non-New Yorker liked the book. Great photos.

It is a must for a fan of New York City baseball in the so called "Golden Age."
