What a gem he was. I can still remember the midnight massacre, when he traded almost all the key players, for what amounted to a group of nobodies, except Joe Torre who was washed up.

I can't believe that Pete can believe a guy like Koosman who cheated on his taxes and is in federal jail right now over an honest guy like Gil who is gone and can't speak for himself.
