Roy Halladay is about to have a physical in Philly. The Phillies may want to trade Lee to receive the prospects Toronto wants. Lee did not want to sign an extension, since he wants to test the FA market after the 2010 season.

Also some speculation that the pitcher the Phils must include in the trade may be Happ rather than Lee.

The Phillies are trying to orchestrate a complicated three-team trade that would get them Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay.
But that trade would come at a price: Phillies ace Cliff Lee.
Sources told MLB.com that the Phillies, Blue Jays and Mariners are in discussions to send Halladay to the Phillies, Lee to the Mariners and prospects to the Blue Jays from both teams. One source familiar with the negotiations said that no deal has been finalized, but multiple reports have the teams agreeing to terms.

The Phillies have an abundance of lefty starters, bringing in Halliday and shipping out Lee makes a lot of sense. We may have to start following Seattle closer, as they are putting together quite a team.
Kramer, you are talking with your heart instead of your head. This is a Phillies team that has won the NL east 3 years in a row. At the end of last year when they acquired Cliff Lee, they improved themselves tremendously. This year they apparently swappingone former Cy Young winner for another. They will be very tough to beat this year.
