Did you know that the Negro Leagues Baseball museum and the American Jazz Museum were housed under the same roof? Of course I did not.
I will look further, but if you know any relationship between Jazz and baseball, please write it down. I think it is very interesting to read how to of my big loves are related.

This is the ultimate link between baseball and jazz.
According to Professor Gerald Cohen of the University of Missouri-Rolla, jazz is originally a baseball term. The meaning of the word is vigour and fighting spirit.

While watching a show on the Negro Leagues on MLB Network, the players mentioned how they played in the afternoon and then went to the lubs at night to listen to Jazz, snd how they hung ut with the musicians.
