That Emmitt Kelly picture is great. Never saw that one. What a fantastic ballpark and surroundings.....................

I like it, because it shows a part of Ebbets Field you don;t often see, down into the Dodger bullpen and rightfield corner.

Hank Bauer leads a contingent of Yankee outfielders checking out the padding on the Ebbets Field wall.

Interesting picture showing the thickness of the padding. Much too late for Pete Reiser, however.

What's the story with all those blocks of empty outfield seats down low?

The only thing I can think of, is it was a hot day and everybody went under the stands in the shade. That is a great color photo, shows all the ads very clearly.

Batting practice at Ebbets Field, 1939. Al Todd (21), Pete Coscarart (3), Fred Sigton (28), and Ernie Koy (20) participate.

Great shots Pete. I always find it amusing that the players back then, could put their gloves in their back pocket.

Appears as if a fan retrieved a home run ball and is using it to gain entrance. Exactly where this entrance was I can only guess. The last time I was in Ebbets Field I was 11 years old. Great photos though Donald.

A young fan climbs out on ledge to retieve HR ball hit by Pee Wee Reese, 1950.
