Ralph Branca marries Ann Mulvey at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Brooklyn. His bride was the daughter of James and Dearie Mulvey, who owned one-fourth of the Dodgers franchise, Ralph and Ann's daughter Mary would marry Bobby Valentine, who played for the Dodgers from 1970 through 1972 and later managed the Texas Rangers and New York Mets.

Bobby will take any job that pays him $3-4 million. Did Ralph invite Bobby Thomson to the wedding.

Bobby V will not be in Cleveland. That wasn't a good fit for him. He is a lot like Pinella, likes veterans over younger players.
