Not much Tony it was made years later as a card that never was, that was the only Topps set Mickey wasn't in.

Imagine how good Mantle could have been, had he been injury free and if he had taken better care of himself.

Mantle said later in life "that had he known he would live so long he would have taken better care of himself".

Because of the early mortality rate of males in the Mantle family, Mickey was convinced he wouldn't live much past 40 and lived every day, like it could be his last.

I didn't know Mantle had 2 sons die at young ages. I wonder if his twin brothers died early as well.

Robert: Did you know that starting in the 1980's Street & Smith had different covers for different sections of the United States for the same edition?
