Here is the response I got. Let me know what you think.
I do not believe this is in the works for this season Thomas, I will forward it back to MLB Productions though so they know of your request, any others of interest to you and your buddies?

I just emailed the company regarding re-releasing their Brooklyn caps and producing a 1912 jersey. PM me Jerry Voithofer's email address anyway. We can keep the pressure on.......................................

I received a response already! They cannot do caps anymore -- they lost their license for the caps. But I sent them 2 pix of the jerseys.................

Sent you a PM, looks like you got it all under control. You are very influential, first CBC now M&N. Can you call American Needle and tell em we want better repro caps? LOL

Thank you Thomas for the email addy. I'll keep at it. A jersey like that one would be very cool. We'll see what happens.

This is my email sent to Jerry Voithofer at Mitchell & Ness:
Hello Sir: My name is Peter Trunk and I am a 63 year old retired schoolteacher living in central New Jersey. I own more Mitchell & Ness jerseys and jackets than my wife should ever find out about (many). I proudly wear them all over town, provoking extended conversations everywhere I travel. My first M & N jersey was Warren Spahn's Milwaukee jersey some 30 years ago; my latest a Brooklyn Dodgers' 1952 leather-sleeved jacket. Your Brooklyn Dodger cap of years ago still evoke many positive comments from all knowledgeable baseball fanatics. I am the moderator of a few baseball websites which discuss (extensively) the retro caps/jerseys/jackets of all the companies. I recently helped Cooperstown Cap Co. in their final design of the correct "B" for their 1949 cap. The reason I am writing to you is that I believe you should pursue the manufacture of a Brooklyn Dodgers' road uniform jersey from 1910, 1911, and 1913. Please refer to the picture I have enclosed. This gray, pinstriped flannel would be your biggest seller of all-time. Thank you for your time. I will/would be available for any and all input if you should move forward with this endeavor. Warm regards, Peter Trunk

We shall see what happens (if anything). Remember, this company is much larger and more successful than BallCap.Com was. They may piss on my email.
Highly unlikely. M&N are a top notch company, and do listen to their customers. They came very close to going under in the 80's and value customer loyalty. I've actually been to their store, it's not so big an operation that they are removed from the opins of their customers. If they think they can move the item, they will do so.
