We are still waiting?
Do you remember how when this time of year came around we kept waiting for Topps to release that seasons baseball cards. When did that happen?

Tony I posted my new 1957 at our Brooklyn Dodger memories HOF thread but I will post it here too. The cards usually came out around the first week of the season the 1st series, today they come out much earlier.

I'm cutting out your card and securing it to my bike's front wheel now.

I made the mistake of using a lot of Yankees in my spokes, today they are worth a lot of money, don't make the same mistake with Bob Kramer Pete lol

I've made PLENTY of mistakes with old Yankees bb cards. I used to trade away Yogi, Mickey and Whitey to my buddies for Chuck Templeton, Chico Fernandez and Randy Jackson. What a dope!

I made my share of mistakes too, the only Yankee fan on my block was Rocky and boy did he take all the kids to the cleaners on some cards. Duke was a pretty good player but Mickey for Duke wasn't a good trade but back then we didn't know it was one good Dodger for one good Yankee.

Hey what did we know back then. The only time I traded was when I had triplicates or more of a card. I was very conservative back then.

I did the same as you Tony but traded my doubles too, we were always trying to make that elusive set, back then I think they shorted cards too. Remember we had 5-7 series that would come out about once a month, by August the last series would come out.
